Eversmann's Redstart, also called the Rufous-backed Redstart, is native to mountain forests of Central Asia and southern Siberia. It winters south of the Himalayas.

The male, above, has rufous front and back plumage with a silver-grey crown and nape in the breeding season together with a black eye mask, a black-topped red tail and a white wing bar.
