The Fallow Deer is a medium-sized spotted deer. The buck (male), like almost all true deer, re-grows its antlers each year. Buck, doe (female) and fawn (young) are spotted, although pale and dark monotones also appear (see photos above and below). |

| Unlike the Red Deer and Roe Deer, the Fallow Deer is not native to Britain. It was introduced from Europe by the Normans for hunting. | ||
