Some Bengal and possibly (captive) Siberian Tigers carry a gene which, rarely, results in a white, striped coat.
These are not albino since they have blue eyes and some brown stripes.
There are two types of coat pattern of white tigers: the "striped," shown above left, and the "stripeless," shown above right,
although they have some faint stripes on the latter.
Some have a very pale sandy background colour (above) rather than pure white.
