The White-tailed bumble bee with a black back and yellow stripes (Bombus
lucorum), one of our commonest bumble bees. Above with full pollen sacks on
hypericum (St John's wort) and on hogweed.
The
Heath bumble bee and the Broken-belted bumble bee also have white tails.
Buff-tailed bumble bee workers have dirty white tails and are similar to the
white-tailed bee.
