The Wreathed Hornbill is native to north-eastern India through to Southeast Asia. It is also called the Bar-pouched Wreathed Hornbill: the dark line on the yellow throat pouch of male and female distinguish them from the similar Plain-pouched Hornbill which doesn't have the grey bar. Above and below shows pictures of the female.
The ridges on the bill increase over the bird's lifetime but are not indicative of the bird's age.
The male, above, has a light blond head and chest with a brown nape (back of head/neck). I have photos of the male somewhere and will put them up when I find them.
