Blyth's Hornbill, also called the Papuan, New Guinea and Plicated Wreathed Hornbill, comes from Papua, New Guinea, the Solomon Is, the Moluccas and neighbouring islands. The number of "pleats" on the casque of the bill of both male and female, up to eight, is the same as their age in years, chicks starting with none.
