The kestrel pair made their nest in a palm tree overlooking the town (see left below). Kestrels usually take over a nest made by another bird/animal.

Male (left, grey head) and female (right, brown head, more speckled/streaked front) in palm tree. (Male looks as if he has a 3 foot tail.)
