Salvadori's Fig Parrot comes from northern Papua, Indonesia. Like other fig parrots, it eats figs and berries.

Males and females look similar except that the male (above) has a red necklace and more yellow neck ruff while the female has a blue necklace and greeny-yellow ruff.
