Brown-headed Parrot

Poicephalus cryptoxanthus

The Brown-headed Parrot comes from southeast Africa. As with several African parrots, the head is more grey than brown.
Male and female have similar plumage. Underwings are yellow. The head is usually totally grey/brown, but one of the pair above has a yellow patch on the nape.
