The Chilean Flamingo is native to the west half of South America. It can be distinguished by black covering well over half of its lighter pink bill and by its straw yellow legs with red-pink knees and feet. |

| James' Flamingo, also called the Puna Flamingo, lives high in the Andes of southern Peru, Bolivia, northern Chile and NW Argentina. The smallest of Flamingo species, it has black covering a third of its bright yellow bill, has dark red skin between bill and eyes and has pink/red legs. | ||
