The Green or Java Peafowl, a close
relative of the well-known Blue Peacock/Peafowl, comes from
Southeast Asia. There are three recognised sub-species in different regions which differ slightly in the hue of green and blue. The nominate is greener and the other two slightly more bluish green. |
