The Patagonian Crested Duck, also
called the Southern Crested, comes from southern Chile, southern
Argentina and the Falklands. A slightly larger, less spotted, sub-species called the Andean Crested Duck lives in the more northern part of South America. Both bear resemblance to the smaller Eurasian Marbled Duck. |
