This Grey Heron is a darker grey than usual with a black head like an adult and a grey face/neck like a juvenile. Most unusually, it has a pink lower bill rather than the usual yellow. |

These juvenile heron twins have the grey heads of young herons; their beaks have the usual black upper and yellow lower bill. Even heron chicks have a yellow lower bill. |
