Zoe Imperial Pigeon
The Zoe Imperial Pigeon, also called Zoe's and the Banded (the latter due to the black band across its two-coloured chest) is found in New Guinea and some Indonesian islands. Imperial Pigeons are large, forest-dwelling pigeons with stomachs and guts adapted for eating fruit without damaging the seeds so that they assist in dispersing the seeds of their food plants.

Zoe's is a large pigeon. Male and female have similar plumage, a grey-blue/eau-de-nile head with pink neck/upper chest/upper back, the black chest line bordering a grey-blue/eau-de-nile belly, chestnut brown wings tipped with dark green, dark iridescent green tail and, saving the best to last, brown thighs like brown shorts with white polka dots.
