The Common Bronzewing Pigeon, known just as the Bronzewing in its native territory, comes from most of Australia.
It is one of three Pigeon species called Bronzewing and of seven related bronzewing-type, all native to Australia.

Males have a light, pinkish-yellow forehead and grey-pink breast. Both have the white eye-lines. Both male and female have the "bronze" wing of many petrol colours.

  Females don't have the light forehead and have a greyer chest; juveniles are generally duller than both adults. Male with nesting material: both incubate and care for young.
