The
Yellow-crowned Bishop, also called the Golden Bishop and the Napoleon
Weaver, is a weaver
bird native to
sub-Saharan Africa. The first bird top left is certainly the male Yellow-crowned Bishop in annual breeding plumage, showing its yellow crown and full black chest and front. The other birds shown above and below appear to have different plumage, particularly the yellow chest (but also black behind the eye), but are identified elsewhere as Euplectes afer. |
